    Come join a friendly and diverse team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Occupational Therapist in Leominster, MA.

     

    The Early Intervention (EI) team provides strength-based, family-centered services for young children under three years of age who have developmental delays or are at risk of a developmental delay.  Services are designed to meet the needs of each infant or toddler, and the needs of their family. The EI team provides services in the home/community setting with the goal of enhancing the child’s physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional and adaptive skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide direct intervention services to children 0-3 and their families
    • Conduct evaluations and assessments particular to individual specialty
    • Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans
    • Coordinate services and act as a resource for children and families
    • Attend staff meetings, in-service education and other professional meetings as required
    • Assist in transition planning prior to discharge from the program
    • Maintain client and administrative records according to center policy

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred
    • MA OT license required
    • Experience working with young children and families
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills
    • Flexibility, ability to work independently and contribute to overall success of team
    • Current valid US-issued drivers license and ability to provide a registered and insured automobile for work related purposes, including travel between work sites 
    • Bilingual in English & Spanish candidates encouraged to apply
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
