    Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a per-diem (0-20 hrs/wk) Clinician in Northern Worcester County. We are specifically looking for applicants who are available to work nights, weekends and holidays.


    Staff at Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (YMCIS) work as a team to provide emergency response to youth and families experiencing a behavioral health crisis in community-based settings including homes, residential treatment centers, schools, and hospital emergency departments.  The team provides an emergency intervention which includes the assessment of clinical and support services the family requires for stabilization in the community.  Disposition could be referral for higher level of care, collaboration with current providers, referral for services and supports. As indicated YMCIS can continue to provide services for 7 days to aid with the stabilization process.


    Clinicians provide consultation services, participate in treatment planning meetings in a variety of settings and work closely with community agencies to provide comprehensive treatment and support to those clients served. We offer a great opportunity to gain diagnostic, clinical, crisis intervention and brief treatment skills as well as to work in innovative and face-paced environment.


    • Conduct psychosocial evaluations for children and adolescents experiencing an acute psychiatric emergency in a variety of community-based settings.
    • Develop effective safety/crisis intervention plans that are client-centered and support strong therapeutic partnerships with clients and their families.
    • Coordinate follow-up services with family and community providers utilizing the Wrap-Around philosophy.
    • Function as part of an interdisciplinary team within CHL as well as develop and maintain effective relationships with other community professionals.
    • Provide care/support to families that demonstrates cultural awareness and respect of their cultural beliefs, customs, and norms.
    • Engage in short-term case management services including coordination with other agencies and service providers.




    • Grade 7- Clinician III: Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the individual is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
    • Grade 8- Clinician IV: Masters degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
    • At least 1 year of treatment experience with youth and families in a mental health setting.
    • Strong computer/word processing skills
    • Current valid US-issued drivers license and ability to provide a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in your own vehicle
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
