Overview

Community Healthlink’s (CHL) Youth Emergency Services Program located in Leominster is seeking Crisis Clinicians for our Children’s Services Division.  We are offering a great opportunity to join our expert team of behavioral health first responders!  The Child and Adolescent Emergency Services Program is a 24 hour/7 days a week crisis intervention program that serves Northern Worcester County and provides an emergency response to children and families experiencing a behavioral health crisis in community-based settings including homes, residential treatment centers, schools, and hospital emergency departments.  We offer a great opportunity to gain diagnostic, clinical, and crisis intervention skills as well as to work in innovative and face-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial evaluations for children and adolescents experiencing an acute psychiatric emergency in a variety of community-based settings.
  • Develop effective safety/crisis intervention plans that are client-centered and support strong therapeutic partnerships with clients and their families.
  • Coordinate follow-up services with family and community providers utilizing the Wrap-Around philosophy.
  • Function as part of an interdisciplinary team within CHL as well as develop and maintain effective relationships with other community professionals.
  • Provide care/support to families that demonstrates cultural awareness and respect of their cultural beliefs, customs, and norms.
  • Engage in short-term case management services including coordination with other agencies and service providers.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required and must be license eligible (LMHC, LICSW)
  • At least 1 year of treatment experience with youth and families in a mental health setting.
  • Strong computer/word processing skills
  • Current valid US-issued drivers license and ability to provide a regisitered and insured automobile for work related purposes
  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
