Senior Receptionist for Early Intervention

CHL's Early Intervention (EI) Program located in Leominster, MA, serves infants and toddlers, ages birth to three years (0-3), who have been diagnosed with development delays. Children are referred to the program by parents, physicians, day care providers and the Department of Social Services for evaluation. Children are evaluated and then individualized family case plans are developed to provide ongoing care and support to the children and their families. The program emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach and employs OTs, PTs, SLPs, medical staff, nutritionists, social workers and developmental specialists. The program serves children and families in the north central portion of Worcester County.


  • Answer the telephone
  • Schedule appointments
  • Process client referrals
  • Verify client insurance coverage including effective dates, benefits and authorization requirements.
  • Data entry; type, copy, collate and file material; general clerical duties.


  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED/HiSet 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • 1-2 years experience as a receptionist or customer service experience
  • Computer literacy; Microsoft Office proficient.
  • Current valid US-issued drivers license and ability to provide a registered and insured automobile for work related purposes, including travel between work sites 
  • Must be able to pass CORI background check
