The Transitional Support Services, TSS Program, is a new CHL program providing services within the agency’s acute substance abuse services continuum. As a post Detox program, the program is designed to work with men and women on their goals for recovery while preparing them for their next step in treatment. Clients in the program are pursuing, accepted or waiting for further placement and are expected to stay no longer than 90 days. Referrals to the program come from primarily section 35 treatment providers.
The TSS unit will have a structured day program that provides an environment to engage in recovery and develop recovery tools. Patients participate in psycho-educational groups and receive case management services.
