Overview

The Lipton Early Intervention Program provides family-centered, community based, home visiting services in the Leominster/Fitchburg MA area for eligible infants and toddlers who have been diagnosed with developmental delays, established medical conditions and/or specific risk factors. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services for families and children ages birth to three.
  • Provide team leadership: facilitate region team meetings, coordinate service delivery, assign cases, manage consultation requests, monitor caseloads, track discharges and respond to staff and family inquiries.
  • Provide supervision for staff and assist in the preparation of performance evaluations.
  • Provide training and orientation for new staff
  • Review data and prepare clinical and administrative reports
  • Review medical records and insure that clinical documentation meets EIP, CHL and DPH standards.

 

This position is productivity bonus eligible

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required/Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Education and training in one of the following professional disciplines: Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech and Language Pathologist, Developmental Specialist/Educator, Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor.
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Certification as an Early Intervention Specialist
  • Current valid US-issued drivers license and ability to provide a registered and insured automobile for work related purposes, including travel between work sites.        
  • Must be able to pass a CORI backgorund check
