Overview

Community Healthlink, Inc. is a multi-service, private, non-profit organization committed to promoting, maintaining and restoring the dignity, well-being and mental health of individuals and families in Central Massachusetts.

 

Community Healthlink's IS department supports approximately 1000 staff in multiple locations. 

Responsibilities

  • Develops and conducts individual and group electronic health record trainings for end users (staff, clinicians and providers).
  • Develops and participates in formal and informal classroom, on-the-job trainings, cross training, new employee orientation and remote trainings.
  • Determines most effective methods for presentations
  • Develops and maintains end-user training materials including manuals, quick-reference cards, etc., as well as upgrade and enhancement documentation.
  • Develops and maintains communications to end users relative to IS/EHR training services including Frequently Asked Questions, Training Schedules, etc.
  • Formulates training programs and schedules, based on agency and employee needs
  • Assesses various training formats and assists in decision-making to determine appropriate training method for specific initiatives.
  • Performs various administrative duties associated with employee training and development. Schedules courses, facilitates and equipment to be used in the delivery of training courses. . Processes confirmations and documents attendance at training sessions.
  • Conducts and analyzes training satisfaction surveys and assessments
  • Produces weekly reports on training volumes and delivery of training outcomes
  • Communicates with EHR System Administrator/Team Lead regarding learning outcomes and suggests improvements and edits of forms and reports based on end user feedback
  • Remains current in training and development methods, techniques and trends. Reads relevant publications and attends seminars and workshops.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives and demonstrates the use of LEAN Six Sigma methodology in daily operations.
  • Ensures compliance with Community Healthlink’s policies, quality assurance programs, safety.
  • Performs similar or related duties as required or directed

Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in training EHR end users or system experience required
  • Experience with behavioral health records is a plus
  • Experience in a technical support environment preferred
  • Experience in training and educating users
  • Must have experience in training planning
  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
