    Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Program Director in Worcester, MA.


    The Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Clinic prioritizes service to individuals with acute and chronic substance use conditions, individuals with co-occurring behavioral health conditions, individuals being discharged from inpatient substance abuse treatment, and individuals requiring residential treatment or services due to substance use conditions.



    The objectives of the program are to use evidence based treatments for substance use such as medication assisted treatments, education and use of naloxone, individual and group psychotherapy and other harm reduction strategies to achieve an alcohol/drug-free lifestyle; improve educational or vocational functioning; improve social/familial functioning; and reduce illegal behaviors. The program is oriented toward engaging individuals in their own recovery process, providing interventions that reduce the risk of harm from substance use, and using treatment strategies that optimize the outcome of our clients.

    • Maintain standards of service consistent with the Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Addiction Services, Health Care Quality Administration. regulations, state and federal regulations, contractual obligations, payer requirements, and Council on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities standards.
    • Work closely with the Substance Addiction treatment team and the Director of the Outpatient Counseling Center.
    • Supervise staff and interns.
    • Participate on the Agency Management Team and the Adult Outpatient Services Managers Team.
    • Facilitate Team Meetings.
    • Oversee staff training and hiring.
    • Work collaboratively with leadership and staff of other CHL programs.
    • Provide direct clinical services through diagnostic evaluations, crisis response, treatment planning, individual, group, couples and family therapy.
    • Participate as a member of the Open Access team.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical conferences.
    • Consult with doctors, state agencies, family members, and  other providers.
    • Maintain clients records consistent with agency policy and applicable laws and regulations.
    • Meet direct services productivity standard.


    This position is productivity bonus eligible



    • The candidate must be licensed independently in Massachusetts in a behavioral health field (Lic Psychologist, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT).
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years post-license experience in addictions and dual diagnoses
    • Be familiar with the use of an EHR, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as tools for clinical documentation, communication, and quality assurance
    • Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
