Thayer Detox is an acute, intensive, inpatient treatment program for men and women 18 and older who suffer from substance use disorders. The program provides individual comprehensive case management services to each client along with at least four treatment groups per day, run by all team members (residential counselors/recovery specialists, case managers, clinicians, nurses).
Detox also has an EATS Program ( Enhanced Acute Treatment Services) within this level of care that supports individuals also dealing with active sysmptoms of their mental illness. Services include daily individual counseling as well as a psychiatric consultation with an MD or NP.

RN/LPN will work on adult detox unit variable shifts:
Provide patient assessments and screenings.
Assist with intakes.
Implement detox protocols.
Supervise residents in unit.
Provide detox relevant education and counseling to residents.
Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist with the development of appropriate individualized aftercare treatment plans.
Assist with and contribute to multi-disciplinary treatment planning.
Follow guidelines and procedures established by unit RNs, Director of Nursing and Medical Director
Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered and insured automobile for work related purposes required.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) oral and written communication skills a plus
Must be able to pass a CORI background check
