The Transitional Support Services, TSS Program, is a case management based program where client’s may be here up to 90 days. TSS is an inpatient treatment program for men and women 18 and older with substance abuse disorders. The program is designed to work with men and women on their goals for recovery while preparing them for their next step in treatment. Clients in the program are pursuing, accepted or waiting for further placement to a halfway house. TSS also prioritizes section 35 clients. A portion of our clients are referred to the program through section 35 treatment providers. The program provides individual case management along with 6 treatment groups per day, run by all team members (residential counselors/recovery specialists, case managers, and nurses). TSS is an exciting, dynamic environment in which all members of the multidisciplinary team work together to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.   • Supervise clients on unit
  • Milieu Management
  • Maintain safety of unit
  • Facilitate client intakes and discharges
  • Medication supervision
  • Conduct toxicology screens and personal searches
  • Helping clients with daily needs
  • Maintaining cleanliness of unit





  • Grade 5: Residential Counselor I - HSD/HiSet/GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Grade 6: Residential Counselor II - Bachelor's degree required; degree and/or coursework in social work, counseling, psychology or related field preferred

  • Good communication and time management

  • Previous experience with the program's population

  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
