    Come join a friendly and diverse team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Medical Records Director at our Worcester site.


    The Medical Records Department serves as the central repository for all client records including but not limited to information pertinent to planning client care and documenting communication among client, provider and clinicians contributing to the client’s care. The Medical Records Department functions under the supervision of the Director of Compliance and Privacy Officer.

    • Supervision and oversight of the agency Medical Records Department
    • All relevant tasks to managing and maintaining client medical records, both in electronic and archived paper formats.
    • Ability to respond to requests for records, as well as audits by payers, regulatory bodies, etc.
    • Ability to maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR part 2, FERPA, and carious other privacy and regulatory laws about client and patient records.


    • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field is required.
    • Certification in Health Information Management is required
    • Health Information Technician (HIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) by the American Health Information Management Association is preferred.
    • Supervisory experience and experience with electronic health records of at least 1 year.
    • Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
