    Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Milieu Manager in Worcester.

     

    The Motivating Youth Recovery (MYR) program is an intensive detox and stabilization program for adolescents struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders.  In this inpatient program our staff work as an integrated team to support youth as they work toward recovery.  This program is staffed 24/7.

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to observe, document, teach, and respond to mental and physical health needs
    • Knowledge of program, agency, and licensing policies and procedures
    • Knowledge of crisis management and verbal de-escalation techniques
    • Ability to complete all written documentation and coordination of shifts
    • Shift Coordination - Set up shift to include location and activities of all clients, schedule appointments, visits, and collaborate on discharge planning
    • Ensure documentation is completed at the end of every shift and supervise staff in accurate and consistent reporting of client progress, ensure that client shift summaries are included in the communication log
    • Notify program director of significant (urgent) events such as restraints, injuries, call outs, building or safety issues; and notify guardians of significant events.
    • Participate in an on-call rotation using agency cell phone to provide staff with support and to ensure program safety during non-business hours and weekends.
    • Attend treatment team meetings as necessary and collaborate with multidisciplinary team of providers to ensure that client's academic, behavioral, clinical, health and medical needs are met
    • Work with client to assist with activities of daily living (ADL's) and foster a sense of safety in the community.  This may include but is not limited to personal hygiene and self-care skills, problem solving and conflict resolution, and other interventions and necessary.
    • Lead one or more skill development and recreational groups per shift.
    • Complete, review, and supervise the completion of progress notes and incident reports to ensure that programmatic needs are met.
    • Human rights, infection control, CPR, first aid, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training, agency and divisional policy and procedures as well as required competencies.Provide supervision to residential counselors, document supervision and performance concerns.
    • Other job related duties as assigned in order to provide quality services which may include transporting clients, close supervision of client's, attending staff meetings, training and clinical supervision, and intakes.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and/or experience supervising staff within a therapeutic milieu required; degree and/or coursework in social work, counseling, psychology or related field preferred.
    • At least 1 years of supervisory experience with knowledge about clinical mental health and positive behavioral supports.
    • Demonstrated strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and ability to contribute to team objectives required.
    • All bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
    • Current valid US issued drivers license and a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in your own vehicle or a company vehicle
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
