    Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a per-diem (0-20 hrs/wk) Awake Overnight Acute Care RN/LPN in Worcester.

     

    The Motivating Youth Recovery (MYR) program is an intensive detox and stabilization program for adolescents struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders.  In this inpatient program our staff work as an integrated team to support youth as they work towards recovery.  This program is staffed 24/7.

     

    This position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic, engaged, and caring team that is focused on supporting clients and staff in developing their potential.   

    Responsibilities

    RN/ LPN will work on adolescent detox and stabilization unit. 

    • Provide patient assessments and screenings.
    • Assist with intakes.
    • Implement detox protocols.
    • Supervise residents in unit.
    • Dispense medications.
    • Provide detox relevant education and counseling to residents.
    • Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Assist with the development of appropriate individualized aftercare treatment plans.
    • Assist with and contribute to multi-disciplinary treatment planning.
    • Follow guidelines and procedures established by unit RNs, Director of Nursing and Medical Director

    Qualifications

    **Experience working in Substance Abuse is a MUST

    • Grade 9A- Valid and current LPN license required.
    • Grade 9B- Valid and curren RN license required 
    • Commitment to providing outstanding care required.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience working with adults and/or adolescents and/or experience in a detox setting.

    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) oral and written communication skills a plus.

    • Must be able to remain awake and alert during the overnight shift to provide a safe and healthy environment for our clients and co-workers
    • Must be able to pass a CORI (Criminal Offender Background Check)  and a an DCF/CPS (Department of Families Adam Walsh/Child Protective Services background check)
