    Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full -time (37.5 hrs/wk) Clinical Director in Worcester, MA.


    PASSages is an intensive, short-term (2-4 week), inpatient treatment program for men and women 18 and older who suffer from substance use disorders but do not require detox. The program provides individual counseling sessions and comprehensive case management services to each client along with at least seven treatment groups per day, run by all team members. PASSages is an exciting, dynamic environment in which all members of the multidisciplinary team work together to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.     • Ability to supervise program staff in a culturally competent manner and to ensure staff maintains required competencies.
    • Oversight of milieu including behavioral treatment planning for mental health and substance abuse.
    • Effective communication with consumers, peers and other professionals that is sensitive to the racial/ethnic/cultural/class backgrounds.
    • Operate program in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring compliance with DPH regulatory requirements. 


    Specific Duties:

    • Oversees day to day operation of the program. 
    • Interviews and recommends staff for hire.
    • Participates in Management Team meeting to develop and implement program goals and objectives. 
    • Co-leads staff meetings. 
    • Provides administrative and clinical supervision to program staff.  Assigns work responsibilities to staff. 
    • Designs/implements staff training schedule. 
    • Responsible for monitoring the physical plant status, and arranging for repairs as needed. 
    • Purchases or arranges purchases of items needed by program.
    • Attends treatment team meeting and case conferences. 
    • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with contracting agencies, community organizations and consumers. 
    • Completes all paperwork as assigned.
    • Responsible for designing and implementing staff work schedule to provide maximum coverage. 
    • Sets up human rights, infection control, CPR, first aid and restraint training.
    • Informs staff of agency and divisional policy and procedures as well as other required competencies.
    • Will be responsible for ensuring that client data is entered into EIM/ESM. 
    • Will take turns with other managers in the adult addiction continuum carrying the on call manager cell phone. 
    • Perform other job related duties 


    • Must have a Master's degree
    • Must be licensed or license eligible (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
    • Minimum of three years mental health/substance abuse treatment experience
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
    • Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites
