  • Overview

    Yarock Memorial Housing, Inc. in affiliation with Community Healthlink, Inc. provides housing for disabled persons at properties located throughout Worcester county, and one facility for the provision of primary medical and mental health care, substance abuse services and case management to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

    Responsibilities

    Yarock Memorial Housing, Inc is seeking board members willing to meet as required to support this mission. The Board convenes up to eight times annually to ensure sound fiscal oversight, to make educated decisions pertaining to the purchase of new properties based upon established community need, as well as to approve the renovation and upkeep of existing properties.

    Qualifications

    A preferred Board member believes in the mission of providing housing for disabled individuals and families, and recognizes that this population both experiences and presents challenges to obtaining and maintaining housing. Yarock Memorial Housing, Inc. seeks multidisciplinary board membership. Individuals with knowledge of community development, architecture and construction, behavioral healthcare delivery, and those interested in ensuring the wellbeing of vulnerable members of the community are strongly encouraged to consider participation.
