    Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Senior Receptionist in Worcester. 

     

    Community Healthlink’s Homeless Outreach and Advocacy Project (HOAP) provides direct services to individuals who are homeless.  Services include outpatient primary health care, behavioral health care (individual and group mental health and addiction treatment), and outreach and case management services.  Working together, our integrated, multi-disciplinary treatment teams address physical and mental health needs, substance use disorders, and identified social determinants of health by providing access to a wide-variety of patient-centered, trauma-informed treatment and services. CHL HOAP is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) program.

     

    The HOAP Clinic has provided integrated primary and behavioral health care and substance use treatment for more than 30 years.  Our highly-qualified, trauma-informed providers and clinicians utilize case managers, care consultants, and nurse care managers to provide a person-centered team approach to meet the needs of each patient through individual and group treatment.

     

    Community Healthlink’s Homeless Outreach and Advocacy Program Senior Receptionists are responsible for the capturing of patients demographic information, scheduling appointments, referrals, insurance verification all while ensuring our patients receive the highest level of customer service.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform a variety of receptionist duties for patients in need of routine and/or urgent appointments, tests, and associated ancillary services in an outpatient setting.
    • Assist in enrolling patients in Wellness program as well as all outpatient services and collect all pertinent data.
    • Maintain a professional office environment
    • Greet clients in a professional and pleasant manner
    • Respond to incoming calls within a reasonable time
    • Schedule Meet and Greets, physicals, routine and urgent appointments, follow-up appointments, intakes, injection appointments.
    • Complete external referrals, prior authorizations, and PT-1 forms for transportation
    • Ordering and keeping track of office supplies
    • Update demographical information including address, phone number, next of kin/person to notify, and pharmacy information into electronic medical record
    • Type, copy, and collate material as requested
    • Collect any and all demographic information as requested by department.
    • Daily reminder calls for clinical and psychiatric staff.  Notify staff of any cancellations
    • Monitor and update in/out board for staff daily
    • Take part in weekly team meetings while taking minutes
    • Act as receptionist to providers, nurses, practice manager, behavioral health clinician, and peer specialist.
    • Perform other job related duties

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of HSD/GED or HiSet required.
    • Must have 2+ years experience working in a medical setting as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point.
    • Must be client focused and patient centered.
    • Bilingual candidates are strongly urged to apply.
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
