     Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Clinician in Fitchburg, MA.


    CHL's North County Clinical Team, is one of three programs in CHL's Developmental Disabilities Unit which provides services to adults (ages 19 and older) who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability and are often dually diagnosed with emotional, psychiatric or behavioral disorders. Most clients are referred by family and or their Department of Developmental Services Coordinator. The program provides individual, group, and family counseling at our sites in Fitchburg or Gardner, as well as medication management with our highly skilled psychiatrist.


    Clinicians in this program provide education, support, and therapy to clients and families through individual counseling, group counseling, and family therapy.

    • Provides direct clinical treatment to adults, children, and adolescents as represented in the caseload through: diagnostic evaluations and screenings, crisis/emergency assessment and intervention, treatment planning and assessment, individual, group, couple and family therapy
    • Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.
    • Consults with area schools, doctors, individuals, and other social service agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management.
    • Maintains client records and administrative records according to Center policy.
    • Maintains unit productivity standard according to collective bargaining agreement.
    • Attends administrative staff meetings as required.
    • Attends in-service education, clinical supervision and professional meetings as required.
    • Perform related duties as assigned.
    • If Clinician IV may provide clinical supervision of staff or Utilization Review. 
    • Coordinate and develop treatment plans per Department of Developmental Services ISP or IEP regulators as required
    • Provide therapy and/or crisis assessment and planning in the community as required by the Department of Developmental Services contract.


    • Grade 7- Clinician III:   Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the individual is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.


    • Grade 8- Clinician IV:  Masters degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
    • Ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and practices to determine appropriate level of care.
    • Can develop and implement treatment plans which are behaviorally oriented measurable and appropriate for the identified level of care.
    • Able to effectively implement the P.A. and U.M. process and advocate for optimal client care.
    • Clinical expertise specific to the target population with an ability to engage clients effectively and work with other professionals and organizations.
    • Current valid US-issued drivers license and a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
