Maranda's House is a 9 - bedroom residential program, where we offer permanent housing to women living with HIV/AIDS, including pregnant women and women with children. This program offers supportive services such as help with obtaining health providers, managing medication, and the prevention of the transmission of the virus. We also assist in empowering our residents with the life skills and knowledge necessary to obtain any resources clients are entitled to including but not limited to: affordable housing, education, jobs and other community resources We would love to add you to our hard-working and caring team. Duties of a Residential Counselor consist of documentation, facilitating in house groups, one on one sessions with clients and assist with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene and self-care skills, money management and budgeting, symptom management, relapse prevention, use of public transportation and transporting, problem solving and conflict resolution, and other interventions as necessary. Residential Counselors will also transport clients when needed to outside AA/NA meetings or any appointments needing staff support.
