    Come join a friendly and diverse team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Contracts Coordinator in Worcester, MA.

     

    CHL's Finance function is responsible for the overall revenue and expenditures and financial well being of the 401 (c) 3 non-profit organization. It is a member of the UMass Memorial Health Care system and is governed by a board of directors.

     

    CHL derives its funding from numerous sources, including state contracts, federal grants, Medicaid, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurers, client fees, private donations and grants and United Way contributions.  This requires careful and consistent contracts administration.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for billing, monitoring and reporting for a group of assigned Purchase of Service contracts.
    • Utilizing original accounting and payroll records, complete periodic invoices ( paper and electronic)for review and transmission to funders.
    • Maintain accurate monthly, contract year-to-date and fiscal year-to-date actual records- both hard copies and electronically.
    • Provide periodic status reports to Program Directors
    • Assist Program Directors in their understanding of the financial status of their contracts
    • Assist in the preparation of periodic reports as required.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year business office experience.
    • HSD/HiSet/GED required at minimum.
    • Ability to understand and interpret accounting and payroll records in order to complete required invoicing formats for State, Federal and other Purchase of Service contracts
    • Ability to communicate requirements to Program Managers and Directors and provide assistance in understanding documentation requirements
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Ability to read and interpret both general and specific billing guidelines and rules
    • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and other similar software.
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
