    Highland Grace House is made up of a passionate, approachable and diverse multidisciplinary team that provides quality care to clients and support to employees. Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a Full-Time (37.5 hrs/wk) License Eligible Clinician. 


    HGH is a substance abuse treatment residential program specifically for adolescent females who seek long-term recovery from their addiction to drugs and/or alcohol. This program is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed for 12 beds. Clients must be between 13 and 17 years of age. The placement is voluntary and family involvement is mandatory; the use of addictive medications is prohibited.

    Highland Grace House is staffed by a team of professionals that include: A Program Director, a Clinical Director, an Operations Manager, 2 Master's-level Clinicians, an Aftercare Coordinator, and Recovery Specialists who staff the program 24/7.


     HGH provides strength based individual therapy and family therapy. Aftercare coordination and collateral contact throughout treatment. Academic instruction by an Education Inc teacher. Daily group therapy including but not limited to psycho-educational, relapse prevention skills, health education, social/life skills development, communication skills, health and wellness and many sober living groups and activities.

    Weekly clinical supervision to meet clinical licensing requirements



    • Conducts client evaluations including bio-psychosocial assessment, diagnostic formulation and initial treatment recommendations/plan.
    • Facilitate psycho-ed and rehabilitation groups using standard group techniques. Meet with clients for individual counseling to assist in attaining treatment goals. Provide families with family therapy.
    • Write treatment plans including client’s strengths with behaviorally based goals and objectives with input of appropriate family members. Document progress of goals and objectives in progress notes.
    • Attend all scheduled meetings on time and remain for duration of meeting. Participate in agency/community education as assigned.
    • Be an active participant in the multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Recognize and seek consultation as needed. Develop a training plan to enhance professional growth.
    • Follow all policies and procedures of the agency.
    • Work assigned hours, which may include rotation of weekends and evening hours.
    • Participate in utilization management, employ CQI principals and assist as needed in accreditation processes.
    • Have a working knowledge of Motivational Interviewing.
    • Perform other related job duties as assigned by supervisor.



    • Must be licensed or license eligible (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT)
    • Grade 7- Clinician III:  Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the individual is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

    • Grade 8- Clinician IV: Masters degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
    • Demonstrates a basic, functional knowledge of counseling skills, has a fundamental understanding of addiction and mental health issues in adolescents and can conduct a mental status exam and can prepare a clearly written bio-psychosocial assessment and diagnosis. Possesses significant understanding of gender specific interventions and understands concepts of culturally competent practice.
    • Writes treatment plans, progress notes, evaluations (with supervision) and letters in a clear and concise manner, and manages paperwork resulting in completion of paperwork within required time limits.
    • Develops a strong working rapport with clients, superiors, and peers and participated as a team member.
    • Maintains the highest standards of ethics and demonstrates professional attitude and conduct.
    • Current valid US-issued drivers license for work related purposes including transporting clients in a company vehicle

    • Must be able to pass a CORI (Criminal Offender Background Check) and a DCF/CPS (Department of Families Adam Walsh/Child Protective Services background check)
