    Come join a friendly and diverse team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Vice President of Residential Services in Worcester.


    For over 30 years, Community Healthlink’s Recovery Environments and Supports has provided residential services and supports to clients utilizing a strength based approach to provide a comprehensive continuum of services. These services are aimed at supporting clients in their recovery from addiction, persistent mental illness, homelessness and the numerous associated stressors.  While continually focusing its attention on the needs of a diverse population by developing and delivering services that are local, professional and responsive. We believe that local involvement is a key factor in clients success to maintain desired behavior changes in the community.


    The Vice President of Residential Services oversees the operation of Residential Recovery Programs to which assigned, consistent with the administrative, program and clinical policies of Community Healthlink and  it’s Substance Abuse Services Division.

    Responsible for the management and delivery of all Department of Mental Health (DMH) treatment programs at Community Healthlink.  This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, maintaining the quality of treatment, assuring compliance with programmatic regulatory and licensing requirements, maintaining staffing and productivity levels, and meeting financial and clinical requirements of the Agency.

    This individual must be capable of high-level performance in a multi-task environment with daily deadlines. This position also requires ability to work in a team environment with proven Experience mediating issues between different parties using effective listening And communication skills. Must possess proven leadership skills, supervisory experience, And the ability to adapt to fast paced dynamic environments. This position may require some evening and occasional weekend work.



    • Master's degree required; degree in psychology, social work or other human services related field, clinical licensure preferred
    • 10 or more years related experience
    • Knowledge of administration and management skills including supervision, program planning/development, communication skills, budgetary experience, utilization management, risk management and quality management.

    • Knowledge of principles and practices of crisis intervention and ability to make decisions, act quickly and de-escalate situations to maintain individuals/staff, office safety.

    • Knowledge of conflict resolution strategies and ability to advocate effectively, evaluate performance and determine need for disciplinary action.

    • Excellent time management, organizational, computer and writing skills
    • Solid grasp on residential program management
    • Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in a personal vehicle or a company van. Travel between work sites required
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
