    Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Director of the Worcester Counseling Center in Worcester, MA.

     

    The Worcester Counseling Center provides integrated behavioral health and primary care services to adults, and couples age 18 and over. We offer integrated, whole person care with primary care, a wellness program, and behavioral health. The Worcester Counseling Center also offers specialized substance addiction treatment. Our medication assisted treatment offers buprenorphine and vivitrol treatment. We also have specialized services for individuals experiencing psychotic symptoms for the first time, and for individuals with developmental disabilities.

     

    The Director is responsible for management of the integrated clinic consistent with regulations, contractual expectations, and best clinical practices, and is the on-site Clinic Administrator and Professional Services Director for this clinic.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain standards of service consistent with Department of Public Health Health Care Quality Administration and Department of Public Health Bureau of Substance Addiction Services licensing regulations, contractual obligations, payer requirements, and Council on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities standards
    • Work closely with a multidisciplinary staff to provide integrated primary and behavioral health services to adults with acute and chronic behavioral health conditions
    • Work closely with administrative staff to provide excellent customer service
    • Provide direct supervision to staff and interns
    • Liaison to the Department of Mental Health area office, area hospitals, and Community Healthlink programs
    • Participate on the CHL Management Team
    • Participate on the Adult Outpatient Management Team
    • Provide leadership to the management staff of the clinic
    • Be a leader in diversity and inclusion, primary and behavioral healthcare integration, and continuous quality improvement
    • Lead and facilitate staff meetings
    • Manage staff training
    • Work collaboratively with leadership and staff of Community Healthlink programs and services and with state and other provider agencies

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of applicable licensing regulations, accreditation standards, provider specifications for outpatient services, and best practices
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, work with, supervise, and coach a diverse staff
    • Clinical expertise with an ability to collaborate effectively and work with other professionals and organizations
    • Independent licensure in Massachusetts in a behavioral health discipline (Licensed Psychiatrist, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
    • Three years of management experience in outpatient behavioral health
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
