    Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Assistant Program Director in Leominster  MA.

     

    The School Support Services program provides mental health services to students in their learning environment in more than 50 public and private schools within Central Massachusetts. We also offer  consultation, training, and support to professionals and parents as they learn to interact more effectively with children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. Community Healthlink staff uses a nurturing and disciplined approach to help at-risk youth and teens deal with the issues that can distract them and prevent them from succeeding in the classroom.

     

    The Assistant Program Director of the North County School & Office Based Program assists the Program Director in providing management and clinical leadership to a school and clinic-based program consisting of a dedicated team of master’s level clinicians, psychologists, and psychiatrists who are supported by our administrative staff.  In addition, the Assistant Director will carry their own case load doing direct clinical work in the school and the clinic.  The Assistant Program Director assists the Program Director in supervising clinical staff, managing the day to day operations of the clinic and school programs, ensuring quality, developing training and handling personnel issues.  The job will also involve overseeing and providing direction in new programming.

    This full time, 12-month position offers the opportunity to assist the Program Director in overseeing   an exciting and vibrant program; a chance to collaborate with local and regional schools in helping improve the functioning of students and school personnel; and to help grow our clinic-based practice.

    Responsibilities

    Assist the Program Director with oversight of the North County School Based and Office Based Program. Assist the Program Director with providing direct oversight consistent with the administrative, programmatic and clinical polices of Community Healthlink Inc.

    • Manage the daily operations of the program in a manner consistent with the mission, values and policies of the organization
    • Provide culturally competent clinical leadership to the program
    • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff and evaluate the performance of the staff
    • Represent the program both within and outside the organization
    • Manage the program’s case assignment, flow and system for clinical review of cases
    • Assist the Director of Children’s Outpatient Services in the recruitment of staff, management of the program budget, and monitoring staff productivity
    • Monitor staff’s clinical and case management documentation
    • Network with the schools where school clinicians are assigned to ensure smooth operations
    • Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors

    Qualifications

    • Independently licensed, LICSW, LMHC or Licensed Psychologist 
    • Clinical experience with children and/or families
    • Demonstrated leadership skill and team building
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and sound clinical judgment required
    • Strong writing skills
    • Must be able to use computer-based information system and electronic medical record
    • Familiar with “Best Practices” treatment modalities
    • Bilingual/Bi-cultural Spanish speaking a plus
    • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
